Michael Paris

Since 2010, Michael has worked as an oil and gas consultant for various operators throughout the 5 core counties in Ohio for Marcellus and Utica Shale play. By working with these individuals and companies, Michael recognized the need to provide both parties a long term solution built on knowledge, trust, and transparency. 

 

His journey started working for a brokerage running lease reports and title abstracts for Jim Bourbeau Land Services. From there he took on a role as a leasing agent and worked there for 2 years on various projects for JBLS. 

 

In 2012, he was offered a leasing agent position with Holland Land Services in the five core counties representing SWEPI and then Eclipse Resources. He was promoted to Crew Chief and oversaw a team of 25 leasing agents. 

 

In 2015, he was offered an in-house Landman position with Eclipse Resources. After the downturn in 2016, he was retained as a consultant for Eclipse and ran their Surface Operations Department for both Ohio and Pennsylvania. Even through mergers and the acquisitions, he remained with them until 2023.

In 2023, Michael left Southwestern Energy and went on to found HP3 Land Management, Inc. The company started with 5 agents and is continuing to grow and provide services for the Tri-State area and nationwide.   

Michael is married to his wife, Kylee, and has 3 sons, Hunter (9), Hayden (6), and Holden (3), which is where HP3 was derived from. In his spare time Michael enjoys spending time with his family, sports, and fishing.
